Benefits Realisation Management

A course designed for those working in project and programme management

Complements PRINCE2® MSP® and other project and programme management methodologies

The current focus on benefits realisation is significant.  A key finding from a recent review of the Australian Government’s use of information and communication technology (ICT) found that:

“...measurement of benefits arising from investments in ICT are areas where there is substantial scope for improvement ”[1].

Organisations, both public and private, are under increasing pressure to realise benefits, and ultimately return value to stakeholders through the delivery of project and programme outcomes.

To assist organisations in developing capacity in this area, Codarra is pleased to offer a one day course in benefits realisation management (BRM).

An accredited trainer will guide participants through the course.  The course covers the following content:

·         Defining BRM and its link to Project and Programme Management

·         The BRM Process

·         Key documents used in BRM

·         Key roles of people involved in BRM

·         Alternate Planning Techniques

·         Exercises

At the end of the course, participants will have a sound understanding of BRM and will be able to apply it in the workplace.  Participants can use their own projects and programmes through the exercises, which they can then use for their own planning purposes back in the workplace.
